Toy Story Birthday Party/Fathers Day/Free Printables

On Monday June 14th my almost 3 year old told me that she wanted a Toy Story birthday party on Sunday June 20th.  How do you prepare for a party with only 6 days???  Use what you have!
The Banner:

I made the banner on my cricut with scrapbook paper that I all ready had.  Shiny adhesive paper and random polka-dot paper.  I tied them together with a spool of christmas red curling ribbon in my wrapping paper stash.
I found this Rex picture holding the #3 (for Toy Story 3) on the internet and used word to add the RD for 3rd birthday (Free)
I used the scraps from the banner to make the mini bunting on the front of the table.
I found all of the images in a google image search for Toy Story.  I printed them out and hung them with the same red Christmas curling ribbon.

The Toy Story bucket favors were given out to her guests.  I was very lucky and work with a very nice mommy that recently had a Toy Story party for her boys.  When I asked if she had anything left over she brought me the buckets, pez dispensers and toy story table covers.  I printed out the coloring pages and Toy Story activity book found on Disney.com.  I found Toy Story crayons and Dominoes at Michaels
The green tray holding the drinks I used at the twins 1st birthday party.  The drinks are a 6 pack of cherry juice.  The straws I all ready had and I made the flags with left over scrap paper.

I made the above bag toppers and filled them with the left over gum drops from Jessie's cowgirl hat cookies.

I found a tutorial on making these from somewhatsimple.  I filled them with candy.  We went to see Toy Story with everyone before the party and everyone grabbed these so that they didn't have to spend as much money at the movie theater.  They were super easy to make, I will be making these again for sure.
I made all of the items on the sweet table.  Woody's star badges, Jessie's cowgirl hat and my very first edible image cookies with pictures of the characters, Katie, and copies of the toppers I made.
The entire table was surrounded by green army men.
The white trays for the cookies were also from the Twins birthday party.
I used fathers day printables from paperglitter and birdcrafts and put them on cookies for my husband and father-in-law.
If you would like to see a close up of any of the cookies they are in the previous post.

I used this tutorial to make the water bottle labels with scrap paper and the toppers that I made.
I found the tutorial on the green alien cupcakes on family.go
The pig cupcake was on executivehomemaker and I thought it would be perfect for Hamm.
The Toy Story cupcake wraps were also purchased at Michaels.
I all ready had the white cupcake stands and blue and red ribbon.

The bales of hay were in my halloween/fall decor.  I made the Jessie tag and wrapped it in ribbon.

There were other decoration around the house including all of Katie's Toy Story toys.  Barbie and Ken, Mr. Potatoe Head, etc..  I used alot of polka dots throughout the party also, thanks for the idea

It was also fathers day and this is the present that my husband received.

I added a little embelishment to the frame mat.  I was really happy with how it turned out!

Now, for reading this entire post I am giving you my very first free printable collection.  For those of you in a rush trying to create a Toy Story party, look no further.
You will find printables for the Toy Story Banner, bag topper, 3rd sign, cupcake toppers/water bottle labels and the large Jessie tag.
Living Locurto also created some free Toy Story printables, unfortunately after my party.  You can find them HERE

bedifferentactnormal posted some very intersesting facts about the Toy Story movie on Monday that I thought I would share.
Enjoy!
In closing a picture of the pretty birthday girl!

I looove your blog, I'm so glad I found it. My son is having a Toy Story B-day this coming weekend.
I have a question for you...I can't get the activity book to open from Disney's website....it' says that there's an error. So I was wondering if you by chance had it saved and I could have you send it to me.
Please let me know!
Thanks again!

Terri,

I love your Toy Story party. It really is an inspiration. My almost 5 year old twins decided a couple of days ago that they wanted a Toy Story Party. The party is next weekend so I've been scouring the web for ideas. Thanks for posting your party in such detail. I am hoping to pull something together that will be fun for them and their cousins. I tried to access your printables but was unable to do so because they were archived. Is there any way that you could e-mail the files to me? My e-mail address is spsquirtle at hotmail.com. Thanks!
