Dr Seuss Birthday Party

My adorable niece Addie recently turned 1.  I was not able to be there because they live about 8 hours away.  I was very happy and impressed when my very talented and also crafty sister-in-law Jenny sent me these pictures.  I had to share a few with you all.  Enjoy:

Cat in the Hat Jello!!

The Favors

She made this shirt for her to wear

and here she is in it:

Isn't she adorable!!!
She made everything at the party including these adorable topiaries from Horton Hears a Who
She said they were very easy to make using a doll rod wrapped in 2 different green ribbons, styrofoam ball and fun fur yarn.

Happy Birthday my sweet girl, Aunt Terri Loves you VERY much!

Your sister in law must be much more talented in the kitchen than I... I tried to make the cat in the hat jello last year for our Dr. Seuss birthday party (for Dr. Suess not one of the kids LOL!) and they totally flopped! I had a big pink creamy mess. Would love to know the secret to that LOL! Anyways just finding my way here from Martha's dreamers, love your blog already! Thanks, Jill!!

Thanks for sharing, I love these ideas! I'm doing a Dr. Seuss b-day party for my daughter at the end of June. I'd love to find out how she made The Cat in the Hat party hats or where she bought them! :)
