Hippo Cake Pops

When my husband's cousin emailed me and asked if I was able to make pink hippo cake pops I had to say yes.  I hadn't really seen hippo cake pops very much and to make them pink for an adorable little girls 1st birthday, I couldn't resist.
She emailed me a copy of the invite on http://www.birthdayexpress.com/ HERE and I was so excited at how cute the little pink hippo was:
So I turned it into a cake pop!

I hope this makes you smile, I thought they turned out so cute!

They came out great! I agree they turned out sooo cute and closely resemble the card image, too.

Love them!!! Can you share what you used for the ears and teeth? And did you draw the eyes on with an edible pen?

The ears are just 1/2 of a M & M side ways and the teeth were actually a little candy bone cut in 1/2 that I had from halloween!

Thank you!

One last question: what brand pink pen did you use for the nostrils and inside ears? I've got the pink Gourmet Writer (Americolor) pen and it's so pale, you can't hardly even see it on white candy melts. (Besides not having a pink pen on hand that could be seen, my hippo pops turned out very cute! :))
